Our team
Led by Sergey Gorchakov FCCA, a chartered certified accountant, from CryptaCount's Luxembourg base.
CryptaCount combines digital-asset data and accounting operations expertise to help finance teams design repeatable processes. We work alongside management, accountants and auditors; we do not replace their professional responsibilities.
How we work
- Defined scope, named client owners and documented assumptions.
- Read-only data handling where data is needed; never private keys or transaction authority.
- Clear handover materials for management and accounting-firm referral partners.
What we do — and what we don't
What we do: The digital-asset layer — wallet and exchange data, classification rules, cost-basis policy, the monthly crypto close, journal entries handed to your GL, crypto disclosure notes, and audit evidence.
What we don't do: Fiat bookkeeping, AP/AR, payroll, VAT, tax filings, statutory accounts, treasury operations, or the audit opinion. Your accountant keeps all of that — we plug into them.
We never hold your keys, and we never touch your funds.
Wallets connect as public addresses. Exchange connections use read-only API keys that you create in your own account and enter yourself — we never receive a credential that can move money. Prefer not to connect anything? CSV and file import are fully supported, with the same engine and the same books.

Frequently asked questions
What exactly do you do, and what don't you do?
We do the digital-asset layer: wallet and exchange data, classification rules, cost-basis policy, the monthly crypto close, journal entries handed to your GL, crypto disclosure notes and audit evidence. We do not do fiat bookkeeping, AP/AR, payroll, VAT, tax filings, statutory accounts, treasury operations or the audit opinion.
Do you ever hold our keys or funds?
Never. Wallets connect as public addresses and exchange connections use read-only API keys that you create and enter yourself. CSV and file import are fully supported if you prefer to connect nothing at all.
Are the published prices fixed?
Every published fee assumes a single legal entity. Multi-entity groups start from +$5,000 for implementation, and the exact figure is agreed in the scoping call.
Do we need a paid plan first?
Implementation and the retainer assume a paid SaaS plan — the software is the engine the service configures. You can connect one wallet on the free plan before the call so we look at your real data together.
Can our accountant stay involved?
Yes, and that is the intended shape. We work as the digital-asset layer behind your practice or your accountant's; they keep the relationship, the statutory accounts and the filings.
Services are contracted separately from the software subscription.
